Peter Parker has finally managed to piece together the once-broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship with Mary-Jane and his responsibility as Spider-Man. But more challenges arise for our young hero. Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter; taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also...himself.
I'll focus on just one thing: implausibility. Spiderman is stuck on his rival's web. Sandman, who is the size of a 10-story building, repeatedly batters him with his fist, which is the size of two elephants. Again and again, Spiderman is pummeled by this gigantic fist. Nothing happens. He is unhurt. Although bound face up and taking the full force of the attack on his chest, nothing happens. He gets up when Sandman stops hitting him. Wait a minute!! Hello?? If that doesn't numb your senses, what does? This garbage actually makes kids stupid. Then, there's the evil spiderman who wears a black mask. How come he suddenly has jaws the size of a shark with a hundred gleaming, sharp teeth just because he donned a mask? This, too, will make your kid stupid. Not to mention a flying skateboard that shoots missiles and has a built- in flamethrower. It's just a flat skateboard without wheels!!! This, too, will contribute to making your kid stupid. Incredibly dumb. I saw this on the movie channel and got a headache because it was just ...so...DUMB!!!
This film is kind of a mess tonally, story wise and visually. <br/><br/>The best parts of this film are Sandman, especially the scene were he becomes sandman. The actors all seem like they are trying and some do succeed, such as J.K Simmons who is always so good.<br/><br/>The film unfortunately just has a messy structure and flips between wanting to be serious to funny so quickly and the film is just so cheesy because of that. There also shouldn&#39;t have been 3 villains. Sandman worked fine and actually felt like a real person, Harry could have been used better and Venom was useless.<br/><br/>Overall this film is just mediocre with some redeeming elements and is better than both the Amazing Spiderman films in my opinion. This is my fourth favourite Spiderman film.
This incarnation of Spider Man seems to forget that its source material was a comic book that wanted to transcend its genre. This is a movie that's content to be pretty good within its genre, with the main distinction of being much bigger than any of its competition.

It knew that Peter would eventually wear the black suit again. At the church bell tower, Peter was taking it off because he didn&#39;t want it. The suit sensed that, and resisted. As such, the Symbiote knew that Peter wanted to throw it away, so even if Peter &quot;acted normal&quot; in his apartment and just dressed off, the Symbiote would have put resistance. Throughout the film, the audience was shown that Peter kept the black suit on while engaging in reckless acts. Therefore, he was likely wearing it at the bar when he attacked MJ. After realizing his error and deciding to rid himself of the suit, he went to the nearby Church to do so. Actually, he finds that this is the perfect spot to get rid of the suit, because, as we can see in the ending sequence, the Symbiote has one big weakness: sound. The bell made the Symbiote weak, and helped Peter to &quot;break it&quot;. This is the same method used by Spidey in the comics, but he uses it already knowing that weakness. a5c7b9f00b
