Responsibilities:

• Responsible for SW requirements analysis, internal requests of SW components, input of new SW into operation and SW tests on requirement base
• Coordinating SW requirements and functional interface clarification between customer and BOSCH internal development, functional and calibration teams
• Creating BOSCH internal SW requirement description, breaks down on SW package to prepare function development order
• Taking new SW in lab/vehicle with CAL work share into operation
• Carrying out functional acceptance of delivered SW
• Verifying customer documentation
• Defining project specific variants (e.g. value of system constant)
• Participating in customer expedition and calibration activities
• Analyzing of (potential) SW bugs
• Supporting calibration specialists in customer queries regarding SW items

Requirements:

• Higher education in electrical engineering, automotive engineering
• Several years of engineering experience in automotive function and software development or automotive software application
• Experience with programming languages (C++, Visual C, Java)
• Good knowledge of microcontroller and engine control unit design
• Experience with handing calibration tools
• Fluent English language, spoken and written
• Efficient task coordination, independently, on own initiative, in structured way
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Result orientation and cooperation
