This move came on sky movies, and there had seemed to be nothing else on, so i decided, as i absolutely adored the original first one, which was brilliant, that this one couldn't be much worse, so i watched it, and i can honestly tell you, this movie was horrifically terrible, the acting was stiff and heartless, only known actors were Vinnie Jones and it was almost unbelievably unbearable The action sequences were terrible, looks like they were done in imovie, explosions looked unrealistic, the storyline was terrible and the director was inadequate. overall this movie was not worthy of B-Movie, maybe not even a C-Movie, i wouldn't recommend this film if it was the only choice, you would have more entertainment sitting alone in the dark in absolute silence.<br/><br/>This movie was an abomination, and a disgrace, this is a perfect example of a terrible sequel. however, i "Would" recommend this film if it was being used as a punishment, or as torture.<br/><br/>I would just like to stress how unbearably awful this movie was, no words can truly describe how bad it is.
Caution: This review contains several spoilers. - I watched this movie twice on DVD and enjoyed it better the second time. I don't know about the fake explosions being too fakey - but the movie really rocks. - I liked the dialogue, the characters, the story line, the photography and everything. - The story begins with a real mystery over why there is a big contract out on this unassuming, do-nothing FBI clerical analyst - and that mystery continues to hover over the events that follow. What's not to like in this movie ? ( I am shouting emphatically now ! ) You have got the 'Hannibal Lector' guy, the 'two - face' guy, the self-exploding flying midgets, the jazz playing black guy - FBI agent that seems to be unkillable, the assassin with the kiss of death and the beautiful body and it goes on and on. I wish they had used the ending that they show in the deleted scenes it is more poetic than the ending that they actually went with. - Tom Berenger was an excellent choice for the leading role - an older man - few of words - but having a lot of hidden wisdom and experience - - and, finally, revealing the 'Joker' in the deck !
This film was supposed to be mainly about the Three Tremor Brothers, who are Darwin, Lester and Jeeves, yet only one has yet confirmed there return, who is Maury Sterling reprising his role as Lester Tremor. Nothing official has been confirmed by Chris Pine. But Kevin Durand who played Jeeves, has already passed on it. On Janurary 13th, a casting call sheet was posted on spoiler websites containing information that only Jeeves and Lester will have a cameo and they will be led by their sister named AK-47, played by Autumn Reeser. Another Tremor family member, supposedly named "Papa Tremor," will be played by Michael Parks. Although in fact this may make no sense because the Tremors history involves the phrase, "Same Skank mom, different deadbeat dad," which would hold true to the characters not knowing who any of their fathers were.
