A shockingly thin teenage Russian model has revealed that being skinny caused her hair to fall out and to miss her periods.
Size zero Alesya Kafelnikova was branded 'anorexic' by her tennis star father Yevgeny Kafelnikov earlier this year - and new Instagram photos of her tiny frame appear to give him fresh cause for concern.
The 18-year-old admitted on social media in August that her health problems were linked to her weight.
But now petite Alesya, who is 5ft 7in tall, has told MailOnline she weighs a healthy 50kg and insists, despite her disturbing appearance, that her body is working 'perfectly'.

Replying to a question about her health on Ask.fm in August, she wrote: 'My hair began to come out, KD has gone [periods], my immunity was damaged,' she said.
When asked why she was having these problems, she replied: 'Because of being skinny perhaps.'
In the exchange Alesya said: 'Actually I have thought... that well one day, when I want to have children, I will put on weight, blah blah. And later I was told that it is not an option, they [periods] may not come back.'
The model has been hit by cruel comments by social media trolls after posting recent pictures showing her gaunt looks.
'Such ugly legs,' said one. Another wrote: 'Girl from a concentration camp.'
Internet haters have also target her father, Yevgeny a former world number one tennis player. One wrote: 'Have you already bought a coffin for your daughter?'
But in the face of this onslaught, Alesya told MailOnline that her health is 'normal' and her body is functioning 'perfectly'.
'I do not have anorexia - this is the only thing I can tell you,' she said. 'My health is normal, I keep good eye on it.

Alesya has insisted her weight of 50kg fits within model guidelines.
Meanwhile, she has become embroiled in a row in Moscow after branding as 'little people' her fellow passengers on a flight where she travelled economy class.
She posted a picture of an aircraft on Instagram, her caption reading: 'This is mine parked over there. I have decided to fly with the little people today.'
She later deleted the posting but she was accused by Kremlin-loyal Life.ru news site of 'humiliating' economy class passengers with her derogatory phrase.
In other comments to her pictures, she was told: 'Please eat :( you were much more beautiful (and still so thin) before you got so skinny.'
And: 'This dying chicken has no shame to place her blue skinny body here.'
A supporter hit back: 'She is not skinny, she is slim, it is normal. Models must be slim.'

Earlier this year, her father - one of Russia's best known sports stars - was reported saying: 'This is real anorexia.

'Last year when she weighed 52kg, I was happy. She was so pretty and finally started looking like a woman.
'And what is happening now? I am strictly against such a radical weight loss! Unfortunately, she doesn't listen to me.'
He told MailOnline: 'Like any other father and parent, I am concerned about my child from every possible angle. It is normal.
In March, during earlier exchanges on Ask.fm, the model was asked: 'What does your father call you?' and she replied, 'an anorexic'.
It is understood Kafelnikov, 42, was with his daughter in Germany when she was given a series of medical check ups.
Aleysa's mother is model Masha Tishkova who divorced Yevgeny in 2001 after three years of marriage.
