Senior PHP (Symfony) Developer

The leading German fintech company that has been building a successful business since 1998 is happy to announce the opening in Münster, Germany.

Since the last couple of years, company is actively building its presence in shopping area by building a digital retail platform, which is already popular.

Visa and relocation support is provided, free German courses together with other company perks. Compensation is about 45-65K annually.

Here`s what you`ll be doing

• Develope a world class price comparison application for an exciting industry. You’ll be proud to tell your friends that you’re one of the authors!
• Discuss and plan business requirements together with product managers.
• Determine the ideal approach to solve technical problems together with your team.
• Implement new functionality and improvements to existing functionality. We’re already good at this. Let’s see if you can make us even better!

This is what you bring to the table

The most important things are logical thinking, clean code, good development practices and the ability to learn new skills quickly.

• Strong knowledge in back-end technologies, especially Symfony (2+ years of experience)
• Want to really impress us? Demonstrate your clean code and Symfony knowledge
• It never hurts to have some front-end development skills as well (e.g. AngularJS, Backbone.js, Foundation). Maybe you’ll end up being a full-stack developer!
• Bonus points for experience in databases such as MySQL
• Very good English skills, verbal as well as written. German language skills are not essential but you’ll find them very useful
