A Russian schoolgirl who claims she was made pregnant by a pre-pubescent 10-year-old boy has shown off her baby bump on social media, while hitting out at ‘nonsense’ claims circulating about her.
Darya, who was 13 when she found out she was expecting, used social media to strongly deny reports that she had confessed to police the real father of her child was a boy two years old than her.
The girl’s story was seen around the world after her claim - highlighted in a nationwide TV show - that the father of her child was aged 10.
A medical expert Dr Evgeny Grekov who examined the boy - called Vanya (Ivan) - said: “There cannot be sperm cells. He is still a child.”
The urology and andrology expert said: “We rechecked the laboratory results three times so there cannot be any mistake.”
The boy also appeared on the TV show.
In February, reports in the Russian media said Darya had confessed to making up the story about Vanya in order to hide that she had been forced to have sex with a 15-year-old boy.
Now - evidently sticking to her original story that Ivan is the father - she posted to her 60,000-plus followers that the claims about the older boy were “complete nonsense” and that there had been no DNA test done to establish paternity.
Police and the Russian Investigative Committee have not commented on reports that a boy, 15, was put under house arrest.
No charges or criminal investigation have been announced.
Darya told her followers: “I’ll tell you more later …(including) why they said that Vanya ‘is not fertile’.”
She claims to be in a relationship with Vanya whose mother Galina said: “I believe my son that he is the father.
“I understand that he himself maybe doesn’t realise what happened.”
Darya posted pictures and a video showing herself 20 weeks pregnant.
She made clear she is determined to keep the baby and expects to have a Caesarean
She has become a social media star in Russia revealing details and updates about her pregnancy.
