Paheal only tags by artist, series, and characters. Only certain can content be tagged (rule 63, crossover, csoplay). Over there things aren't as uptight in regards with loli and shota. While we have to got on the stuff due to advertisers.
Paheal one can only post images based on something. Here can post furry, real porn, OC, just as long it has something not going against the ToS. Oh, and RP is short for role playing.
Added to FAQ, basically you really should check out both sites for yourself because most things people will tell you will be based on their own experiences and that's not always the best way to find out about things, especially when it's free to check out!
Explore the features of both sites, see how the tagging is done differently, how the comments are done differently, how are the social interactions are done differently, how the speed of the sites are different, there are way too many to list :)
so i saw another rule 34 website which was rule 34 paheal, and i have no idea if that site is a mirror, or a seperate website all together

Different search engine and source code as well.
paheal the has worse tag system, while xxx are more ban-happy but due to paheal dont really have any regulations and xxx engine are very dated and things can disappeared even without mods doing, tho they're one of the hardest working mofos you'll find in this dark side of the internet.

Paheal is pretty awful, honestly. I can't think of a single thing it does better... it's more popular (I think?) but tons of stuff doesn't even get uploaded on there. R34 Hentai also has the same problem while being plastered in ads.
I've heard people complain that this site has too much futa/gay/furry porn, but at least on here you can filter it out.
A more apt comparsion would be Rule34xxx vs. Sankakucomplex. (Not Gelbooru, because Gelbooru sucks)

Paheal also doesn't allow original characters, for whatever reason
Lol I actually started my uh...hentai forum journey(?) on paheal then migrated over here after a couple of years. xxx has a much better interface and it's way easier to interact with others.

But yeah, if you get caught in a heated war with trolls on the feature pic section or on any other pic (it depends), 9 times out of 10 the mods won't mass delete the conversations. Otherwise, the site's fine as long as you lay low and as long as insane trolls don't bother you.
Paheal also has all these obnoxious pop up ads.
I like how everyone says paheal is the “dark side” even though they don’t have dark mode, so now I’m just confused.
True, paheal is shittier with its inferior tag system of only artist/character/copyright tags, but with it being less regulated, it’s sometimes decent for variety or finding that one image by that one artist that keeps getting banned on xxx due to drama and not even the content of the image itself.
