Is  is just a bug or not? The problem was in line of code which I unfortunately forgot to remove. The line was like this: $cover: $body/child::*[1]/... Is it okay? Assigning figure to some variable causes that figure disappear. Or it is because variable named as "cover" property? Removed that line, and it's ok

Admin's comment: We're sorry, but the only bug that can possibly have caused this is a bug introduced in your template #25:
1. Template #25 doesn't show the cover:
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/brodude.ru/template25/issue1/
2. Consistently:
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/brodude.ru/template25/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbrodude.ru%2Fvechnyj-karandash-penet%2F
3. Template #23 used to show the cover:
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/brodude.ru/template23/issue1/
4. Reloading template #23 now — still shows the cover (so its code can still generate the cover correctly):
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/brodude.ru/template23/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbrodude.ru%2Fkak-stat-tatu-masterom%2F
5. This means that nothing changed in the site structure and in the IV engine. This only leaves one option — a bug in template #25's code.

It's like grade 5 issue from new clarifications, but not about all template at all. One module in one section. I saw issue with bad format that appears on certain pages, and it was declined. So plz review, may be it's not so critical

Admin's comment: That one module in one section amounts to many pages. A severe G5 is enough to decline a template.

Grade 7 issue. To be honest i can't even find how to get link to this kind of page. I still think it's not a big deal, especially for such not article-like pages

Admin's comment: True, we have restored this template. https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/laopinion.com/template14/issue1/

42. Let's compare http://bit.ly/2u1F7fJ and http://bit.ly/2u1yom8

Source links (btw it's not) are optional and such meduzas stuff is essential? Little indicator on article head. Reporter misses all footnotes and and anchor links so.. (Y)

Admin's comment: The wording is indeed messed up, but both decisions are correct.
https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/meduza.io/template144/issue1/
This is actually pretty straightforward: Meduza is a news site and they have special markings for articles that are based on unverified info. Something like "WARNING: POSSIBLE FAKE NEWS". So it's definitely essential. This is not related to "source links" that are mentioned in the checklist (those links are "by the way, we stole it from those guys").
As for https://instantview.telegram.org/contest/newrepublic.com/template9/issue1/, it has a podcast episode and a link to get it in iTunes. Since the podcast is already embedded in the article as a soundcloud thing, it's ok to omit that link.
Sorry for the poor language choices of our admins that resulted in confusion.
