React + Scala Developer (relocation to #Oxford, #UK)



We are looking for an experienced full-stack Scala developer to join a team of award-winning machine learning and medical imaging experts who met at Oxford’s world-renowned computer vision laboratory and partnered with former software engineers from top technology companies (Amazon, Facebook, Redhat) to put up a fight against lung cancer. 


The company develops the world’s first software for personalized early diagnosis & treatment of lung cancer, which tracks patients across the entire care continuum and stratifies them to optimal procedures. At the heart of the system is a Lung Cancer Prediction digital biomarker based on AI/Deep Learning. 


Role:

- Senior​/Middle

- Team: Product Development

- Tasks: join scrum, add features to the product (being developed from the ground up since

Jan 2018, 80% work are new features), maintain minimal amount of techdebt, handle share

of work on delivery pipelines, maintenance, bugfixing.

- Focus on: new​ project development


Requirements:


Must have skills:

- Advanced / Fluent English

- Proven track record to deliver production software

- Ability and willingness to learn languages and frameworks

- Truly fullstack, doesn’t mind frontend nor backend

- Linux development


Good to have skills:

- Worked in commercial team-based software development min 2-3 years.

- Scala

- React

- Communication
