Without the need of having a Quantum Computer, enrolling in an advanced degree or program or partnering with companies who have access to it, Qilimanjaro will open an access to Quantum Computing to the whole world.

Division of Teams and Services

To ensure that Qilimanjaro can strengthen its presence and boost the relevance of quantum computing, Qilimanjaro was structured in to two teams which both aim to provide progress and supply a need in the market. The graph below summarizes the goals and roles of the two teams - Qilimanjaro Computing Services (QCS) and Qilimanjaro Software Services (QSS).

Qilimanjaro Computing Services (QCS) Team

This team is responsible for building a Quantum Computer that will be accessible via cloud. The team will be creating a quantum annealer that will allow users to experience quantum computing at an affordable price.

The team will also be developing software tools needed for building and editing programs online. Qibo, Qilimanjaro’s proposed open source quantum computing language, will be used to test written codes sent to the cloud-hosted quantum computer for simulation against real life conditions before implementation to actual devices and settings. This service by Qilimanjaro will pave way to an easy and affordable access to quantum computing for all.

Qilimanjaro Software Services (QSS) Team

This team will work with individuals in translating problem to quantum algorithms thus further expanding their jobs to the creation of an operating system to which Qilimanjaro’s Quantum Computer will run with. The operating system will also be created with the goal of providing customers a full-stack support in mind.

QSS will be providing these added quantum algorithmic services:

· Translating real world problems in to corresponding quantum computing algorithms

· Optimization of existing quantum algorithm programs including programs outside Qilimanjaro’s platform and translating it into one

· Doing experiments with Qilimanjaro’s Quantum Computer

Qibo

As stated before Qibo is the open source language, developed by the team, to which the Qilimanjaro’s Quantum Computer is running. This will also be the language to be used in developing further quantum computing projects to be done through the platform.

Qibo has the ability to interact to other current compilers of existing devices in the market. This ability will allow Qilimanjaro to reach out the biggest quantum computing community and individuals who want to try it out. The goal is to create libraries and get contributors rewarded through their efforts.

OpenQ

OpenQ is Qilimanjaro’s quantum computing community that will help leverage the powers of Quantum Computing. With Qilimanjaro’s goal of servicing all types of industries such as government, research laboratories, universities, large and small companies, and individual users, OpenQ will be Qilimanjaro’s key to opening an access to Quantum Computing services for all.

Therefors, Qilimanjaro will be managing OpenQ which houses scientist, algorithm designers and debuggers to collaborate with each other and come up with a quantum computing algorithm that adheres to industry standards.
