...of a pointless original.<br/><br/>Surfing criminals?<br/><br/>Who the hell let this turkey escape?<br/><br/>The original was silly enough.<br/><br/>Anyone who ever surfed would know that most surfers don&#39;t own an alarm clock or even possess the sort of intellect required to shoplift a Mars bar, let alone orchestrate a bank heist.<br/><br/>Hollywood keeps throwing out crap like this to each unsuspecting new generation (every 25 years) and it gets dumber and dumber.<br/><br/>Want to watch a surfing movie? Big Wednesday.<br/><br/>Heist movie? Point Blank with Lee Marvin.<br/><br/>I&#39;ve yet to see a remake (there is no such thing as a &#39;reboot&#39; - unless you work in Hollywood or for its associated media) that bettered the original.
Before I start, what director was dumb enough to accept this script, (Notice I didn&#39;t put a question mark, cause I don&#39;t want to know his or her name). I hated Bodhi speeches to Utah. I ignored the terrible acting.<br/><br/>Almost cut this movie off the first 4min, that stunt where they jump the dirt ramp was terrible. There is a pointless fight scene in this underground place with Bodhi, and Utah. Samsara character served no purpose in this film.<br/><br/>The point of the crimes is so stupid, even if so, they should have showed Bodhi, and his crew being more detailed in their crimes, more schemes, more plotting etc.
Unless you’re a fan of extreme sports photography, the 2015 Point Break lags behind its predecessor in most areas.
