In the near future, glacial melting has covered ninety-eight percent of Earth's landmass. Sharks have flourished, and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.
Oddly enough Planet of the Sharks came from syfy channel but with a plot involved. Yes, you heard me right, you actually get to see more than just silly, cheap CGI, you will indeed witness a plot developing under you very eyes.<br/><br/>That is of course if you can make it through this movie as it really is as terrible as they get, a movie where the brain needs to be shut down, and you need to see the forest beyond the trees. All in all, for a syfy production it is slightly better yes, but is that really saying much?<br/><br/>So if you wanna see a movie with sharks, but not much more, I guess if all the other nature channels have nothing on, you could do this. Tho I recommend you do not!<br/><br/>Cheers!
I thought some astronauts would land on a planet that was run by shark men that spoke English and captured humans as slaves but it wasn&#39;t. This one is set in the future where all the polar caps have melted leaving the whole planet in water. The fish are dying off due to the increase of temperatures leaving all the sharks hungry, so now they seek the only food source left, humans.<br/><br/>This is an Asylum suck fest. It feels like a cheap Waterworld with CGI sharks jumping around. It does get super ridiculous when they stab a shark to power their generator.<br/><br/>Overall summary is don&#39;t waste your time here.
