In researching for the 'sex pro' for a book I'm piecing together, I had hoped to find out information pertaining to same. This is not the book for this kind of research.
It's overdramatic, and explicit details left me bored.

I had been toying with the idea of becoming a phone sex operator for the past year and first got this book with that idea in mind. It's not an easy decision to come to and I wanted to see what was in store, what I would have to do and know in order to be good at it. I finally got a job as a phone sex operator, finished reading the book and now am reading it again with the new eyes of one who is taking those calls, dealing with the hang ups and the unusual, off-the-wall requests from callers.
I like this book because I think it gives a pretty good insight into what it's like being a phone sex operator, discussing the kind of calls you get, giving you good ideas for calls and how to handle them and taking some of the scary out of it all, because jumping into this kind of work is kind of terrifying if it's brand new to you.
I've never written a review here before, though I read avidly. I'm writing this one because I know there is someone else out there thinking about becoming a phone sex operator and looking for good books to read on what to expect and I think this one fits the bill.
