INVITATION TO INDIVIDUAL

TRANSLATORS FOR SPONSORSHIP COMMUNICATION SERVICES.

ChildFund Ethiopia is an international child focused NGO working to improve the wellbeing of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and families. We achieve positive change in communities in partnership with local organizations through our three core programs that improve education, health and livelihoods and achieve the outcomes of healthy and secure infants, educated and confident children and skilled and involved youth.

ChildFund Ethiopia offers sponsorship to enrolled children where the children and the sponsors have opportunity to have correspondence through letter exchanges. Children's letters written in Amharic language needs to be translated to English in order to make presentable to sponsors living in different part of the world. In order to facilitate the translation of the letters, ChildFund Ethiopia wants to invite eligible individual Translators to submit their technical and financial proposal in sealed envelopes for long terms translation services. The translation is made online using the designated intermate bases website.

Interested translators with experience in Sponsorship Communication Translation shall submit following:

1. Resume and Application
2. Professional License (if applicable) (and testimonials of relevant degrees and experience
3. Translation service experience at least 2 years in the industry (10 points)
4. Translation service experience with similar organizations testified by reference letters (20 points)
5. Translators shall provide unit price including all applicable taxes

Proposals must be submitted on or before October 13, 2020 11:30AM at ChildFund Ethiopia office reception in hardcopy.

Proposals' evaluation will be based on experience and unit price offered; the lowest evaluated translator will be awarded the contract.

ChildFund Ethiopia will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by translators in connection with preparation and delivery of offers.

ChildFund Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the proposals at any time without assigning any reason or reasons whatsoever.
