Incestuous Father To Be Charged Today
The 46-year-old man, who allegedly had sex with his 21-year-old daughter over the past three years, is expected to be charged in court on Tuesday.
The man, who was remand expires on Monday, will be charged under Section 376A of the Penal Code, which carries a jail sentence of between six and 20 years, and whipping upon conviction.
Police sources revealed that the woman will not be detained. "We have concluded our investigations and will be charging the father," the sources said.

That is what the wife of a man who allegedly had sex with his 21-year-old daughter to a journalist when she was approached in front of her house in Kajang.
Despite the controversy, the woman whose husband was allegedly involved in an incestuous relationship with their daughter is operating her mixed rice stall in Cheras, reported Chinese dailies.
However, before the the 46-year-old woman entered her house, she said: "It is because my heart is aching ...” to indicate how sad she was over the alleged affair.
Her customers had described her as "a very happy and cheerful woman". "I was shocked to learn about the incident as I have known the family for a long time," a family friend said.

Psychologist and criminologist Dr Geshina Ayu Mat Saat said that surprisingly, a mother could think it was better for her child to have sex with a family member than with a stranger.
“It is hard to believe but some parents do have such a mentality,” she said in an interview yesterday.
Dr Geshina, who is attached to USM’s School of Health Sciences, said awareness on incest, notably on permissive relations between family members, should be addressed early on.

The Incestuous Affair Was Revealed When The Daughter's Uncle Saw "Steamy" Text Messages Sent From The Father To The Daughter
The incestuous affair would probably have continued if not for an alert uncle who runs the hair salon where the 21-year-old woman has been working since completing the SPM.
A police source said the relative had borrowed the woman’s mobile phone on Nov 9 to make a call when he saw “steamy” text messages from the father to his daughter.
“The uncle’s phone had run out of battery and he borrowed the woman’s phone to make a call.
“He was shocked to see such messages from the girl’s father and immediately questioned her.

“After continued pressure, she confessed she had been having sex with her father since she was 18. She also revealed she was a willing partner and was in love with him,” the source said.
When The Uncle Confronted The Father In Front Of The Wife, More Shocking Details Of The Relationship Were Revealed
The uncle brought the woman back to her home and confronted the father in the presence of her mother.
The man only sat in silence while his wife was deeply distraught over the revelation.
"The woman revealed the last time she had sex with her father was in October.
"She also said her father, who runs a food stall in Kajang, gave her money each time after sex," the police source said.
The Uncle Convinced The Daughter To Lodge A Police Report For Fear Of The Same Fate Befalling On The Girl's 9-Year-Old Sister.
The source added that at first, the woman was reluctant to lodge a police report.
The uncle, however, brought her to the Kajang police station as he was worried the same fate would befall the woman’s nine-year-old sister.
The man has been remanded until Nov 26 to facilitate investigations under Section 376A of the Penal Code for incest.
The offence carries a jail sentence of between six and 20 years, and whipping upon conviction.
Legal Sources Say The Girl Can Be A Victim, But She Can Also Be Charged For Committing Incest.
The woman has been sent to the Kajang Hospital for a medical check-up.
Legal sources said that if the father is charged with the offence, she could also be liable under Section 376A.
“Under the law, if both committed the offence, both can be charged but it all depends on the circumstances of the case.
“It will be up to the Attorney-General’s Chambers to decide whether the woman was a victim or if she should be charged with the offence as well,” the source added.
Under Section 376A, a person is said to have committed incest if he has sexual intercourse with another person whose relationship to him is such that he is not permitted to marry her under the law, religion or custom.

A dad his long-lost daughter have been arrested for incest after having a child together in the United States.
Steven Walter Pladl, a 42-year-old from Knightdale, North Carolina, was arrested along with his 20-year-old daughter Katie on charges of incest after his wife reported the pair to police.
Katie is Steven's biological daughter and had been adopted as a baby, having no contact with her birth father for almost two decades before finding him over social media after she turned 18.
Steven Pladl's wife, who is the mother of Katie and their two other children and from whom he now estranged, discovered that Katie was pregnant with his child after reading one of the former couple's children's diaries.
It also read that the other children had been told to call Katie their step-mother, the Daily Mail reports.
The wife then contacted Steven and challenged him about the issue, which he confirmed was true and added that he and Katie were planning to get married, a court heard last week.
Child services in Richmond, Virginia, where Steven and Katie were living at the time, were informed and interviewed the two other children, who confirmed their mother's allegations.
The incestuous couple subsequently moved an hour south to Knightdale, North Carolina, where they were arrested at the end of January on charges of incest with adult, adultery and contributing to delinquency.
A bail bond of $1 million was set for the couple. Steven had been released on bail but Katie remains incarcerated, according to WNCN.
They are both awaiting extradition back to Virginia, where the crimes occurred.
Katie was born in early 1998 and then immediately adopted to a family in a different state.
She was unaware of her birth parents until 2016, whereupon she attempted to track down her biological parents via social media.
Once she had found the Pladls, she moved into their home in Richmond.
The wife and mother reported that Steven began sleeping on the floor of Katie's room for a month before she eventually decided to move out.
The mother and father legally separated in November 2016, before Steven and Katie subsequently had a child in September 2017, who was with them when they were finally arrested on January 27 2018.
