I was planning to start this book today but now that my nosey self has stumbled onto a major spoiler I have no interest in reading this book anytime soon. I loved Queen Of Shadows, but now that I have discovered that David becomes a complete A$$h@!в‚¬ in this book I dont care to read it. Its these character inconsistencies that cause authors to loose faithful readers. I did something I Never do after stumbling upon the entire plot spoiler, I returned this book back to B&N. I loved Queen of Shadows and especially David and Miranda. The main reason Im not going to continue with this series is because (view spoiler)[ David chose to be a complete A$$ho!ВЈ when he cheated on Miranda. It was never hinted in the first book that David and Devon had feelings for eachother. Supposedly he had never experienced love and was waiting for the Signet to make the decision for him. Hello, I thought Miranda was his soulmate?!! Probably the WORST part of the book is when the author chose to deminish Mirandas self respect and wrote Miranda as needy, and willing to let David and Devon continue to have their affair no questions asked Are you kidding me Mrs. Sylvan?!! The Miranda from QofS would have NEVER allowed David to cheat on her. She should have wrote Miranda with some self respect and should have left David or made his life hell. A woman should never ever allow a man in a committed relationship to cheat. Thats unacceptable to me! If I want to read about men cheating I wil just recall my memory back to my early 20s.
