The title says it all - this is a story about a boy, a very possessive man-boy named Josh Turner whos all about...And a girl, a very innocent girl named Hannah Smith-McIntyre who is very sweet but usually comes off as Damsel in Distress...Dont get me wrong, there is no distress in the story as such. This book just gave me the medieval vibes with all the caveman and Josh-can-have-whatever-he-wants-and-however-he-wants-me shit. Josh and Hannah have always been next door/farm neighbors but Josh notices her for the first time when she is 15, kisses her to save her from some stupid situation and goes bat shit crazy for her. At the age of 18, he decides that he is in love with this girl and is going to marry her someday and have babies with her. THATS ALL.That is all the story is about. But I enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed Joshs possessive streak, Hannahs innocence and their undeniable attraction to each other. There are some complications in their HEA but they werent anything major.Yea, it was extremely unbelievable that a 18 year old boy could be so controlling and talk like a possessive maniac but it was sexy. And a 15 year old girl could be so innocent in this day and age.. I mean, I was a 15 year old girl once and I was never that naive. Never. But then again, I have always had a dirty mind! Will I recommend this book? This was my first Lynda Chance book and I have been given to understand that she writes very good smut. This book is NA so most of the smut is PG-13 (It was hot but not H.O.T) So if you have read her other books, this book may fall a little short. But if you are new like me and if you enjoy possessive alpha male and an innocent but sweet heroine - this is the book for you.
