Many years ago, in the hidden village of Konoha, lived a great demon fox. When it swung one of it's nine tails, a tsunami occurred. The fourth hokage sealed this demon fox inside a boy in exchange for his own life. Naruto was that boy, and he grew up with no family, and the villagers hated him thinking that he himself was the demon fox. Naruto's dream is to become Hokage, and have the villagers acknowledge him.
Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja, struggles as he searches for recognition and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the village's leader and strongest ninja.
When I first started watching this show, I was like what the hell is this? The conversations were kiddish, the drama/comedy was just awkwardly placed, and the soundtracks were bad. What changed my opinion of this show was the bell training with Kakashi. It gave me a true outlook of what a ninja is. I moved away from DBZ because of Naruto. The fights in Naruto were more strategic and it showed more blood and on-screen injuries. The storyline is just addicting with so many characters with their own personal stories that tie in with the series. In every fight, you just want to see Naruto win and proving that even though he's a weak and dumb, he can still rise above everyone else one day and be the best.
When Naruto was only a baby, there was an evil demon called the "Nine Tailed Fox". The demon was so powerful and destructive they had to stop it. The Hokage of the Village in the Hidden Leaves had to stop it. The Hokage defeated it and trapped the demons soul in Naruto's baby body, therefore leaving some swirly mark on his belly. Years later, Naruto got into the local Ninja Academy. Everyone was told to stay away from him because everyone thought he was dangerous (Even though he wasn't). For a while he had a dream. He had a dream of becoming Hokage, so everyone in the village will stop treating him bad and treat him like he's someone. I think that this show is simply one that you can't miss. I first got into this when I started to play the video game, "Naruto: Clash of Ninja" for the Gamecube. Then I started watching the show. That show leaves me speechless. Yeah!!! Believe it!!!!!!!!

Besides that the US version had some scenes redrawn. Unfortunately, the US version had its own opening and ending, which was resented by many fans because it wasn't really a song, sounding as good as the original songs used for opening and ending credits. Besides that, most of the original names were kept, but some are spelled or pronounced not correctly. Inner Sakura yells , romanized "Shannaro!".
