A Connecticut police officer was arrested for allegedly attacking her ex-boyfriend just hours after filming an episode of A&E's reality show 'Live PD', in which she arrested a man for allegedly choking his girlfriend.
Stacey Lyons, 33, allegedly broke into her ex-boyfriend's apartment and is accused of assaulting him when she discovered him with another woman, the New York Daily News reported.
Lyons has appeared in several segments of the two-hour reality show, which follows six police department and officers through a 'typical Friday night' shift.
The officers patrol urban and rural areas in the U.S. It is hosted by ABC’s Dan Abrams and two Dallas detectives.

The first episode of 'Live PD' showed Lyons arresting a man who was accused of attacking his girlfriend.
'Domestics are the most dangerous calls a police officer can go on,' Lyons said during the show.
On the show, she urged the man to turn over any weapons he was in possession of, while he sat in the back of her squad car.
Hours later, she would find herself in a similar position.
Lyons' ex-boyfriend had a small wound on his arm and nose from a shoving match the two got in. He told police they had broken up two weeks ago, but she said they were still together and had plans to attend a wedding together, according to CT Post.
Lyons was charged with disorderly conduct and will appear in court on November 16.
She was forced to surrender her weapons and is now on administrative leave.
'This is really sad because she is a conscientious officer, a very good officer. But you have to be able to control your actions. Anytime you get into a problem with someone you are involved in a relationship with, you should just leave,' Bridgeport Police Chief Armando Perez told the CT Post.
