NAVIADDRESS - a unified digital ID for any place and object in real and virtual worlds.

Naviaddress aims to create a decentralised global unified address platform for real and virtual worlds. Naviaddress disrupts the traditional addressing system by giving users a convenient and fast way to replace their impractical and lengthy physical postal address with a Naviaddress, which is a short, easy-to-memorize and communicate sequence of digits. It may also be able to function as “a smart address” because users can assign and store relevant information such as “last mile” navigation (embedded geographical coordinates, physical address, hours of operation, route description, photos and other relevant information), which makes it easier to find complicated, remote locations or newly built structures.

Strong sides:

  • Project received considerable amount of money from angel and seed round investors. The rounds were closed in 2015 and early 2017 respectively. Naviaddress did not sell tokens with discounts to the seed investors;
  • It solves multi-billion problem of the market: Up to 20% of addresses in developed countries are not verified from the first time. Navi can decrease operational costs for large, national corporations. For example, US Postal Service alone incurred a 1.3 billion dollars cost in 2016 on just so called Undeliverable-as-Addressed mail;
  • Naviaddress provides digital addressing layer over any digital map. It means that they don’t have to address basic map issues but only navigational part;
  • Naviaddress addressing system was deployed in the end of 2016. A user can interact with the addressing system through three proprietary applications (web, iOS, Android). As of January 2018, there are 1.5 million naviaddresses in the system, including 1.3 million business naviaddresses; c. 60 000 registered active users of our applications. Naviaddress integrated its addressing system with UBER in 2016. In 2017 Naviaddress signed the Strategic Partnership Agreement with Booking.com and later integrated its system with booking.com. Now c. 1.4 million of booking.com partner hotels have naviaddress IDs in the addressing system. From early February Naviaddress team has been working on integration pilot project with DPD (www.dpd.com) Russia office under MoU.
  • Unlike 95% of the blockchain projects, Naviaddress has alfa version of its blockchain protocol being tested now. The team announced that a release of its platform blockchain beta 0.1 version will be available on the Ethereum Rinkeby Network on March 2, 2018.

Weak sides:

  • Project is not hyped and doesn’t have large community support yet. Now it has c.4000 members in the community channel.;
  • Majority of people don’t understand the significance of the project and its value as they might not be familiar with this industry;
  • Naviaddress team is mostly from CIS countries which increases certain risks on international and regional markets, however this problem might be solved with the growth of the project and partnership network;
  • It might take a longer than a year to adopt the concept. In early digital maps era before smartphone introduction it took Google maps several years to show traction as well. Google Maps for Android and iOS devices was released in September 2008 – 4 years after the technology and business was acquired by Google from Where 2 Technologies company which started to develop the concept early 2003.

Summary: I believe in this project as it solves serious problem and this solution is demanded. For a while, I worked in the Maps departement of Apple company and I can confirm from professional standpoint that market problem is real and Naviaddress might become quite large on the global scale. This project has good and professional team with relevant experience. I plan to participate in this ICO because I can see the huge scalability and growth potential for this project. From the negative sides I want to emphasize that projects like Naviaddress require some time before global adoption, and might not fit those investors who look for a quick profits. Definitely a great team and a business model. I encourage my subscribers to read more about the product on official website and ask questions in Telegram channel.
