Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus 720p

The California coast is terrorized by two enormous prehistoric sea creatures as they battle each other for supremacy of the sea.
A huge iceberg calves that holds a megalodon (mega shark) and a giant octopus frozen inside it. Deployment of a LFAS (low frequency automatic sonar) unit causes it to shatter. The two behemoths thaw and return to life. The shark terrorizes the California coast while the octopus creates havoc things near Japan. A group of three oceanographers put together a plan to draw the beasts into a trap with pheromones.
In some instances the worst films can often be the most entertaining. Anyone who has taken the time to watch this probably did so for that very reason. Unfortunately the quality of this films awfulness (????????) isn't even laughable. If they had hired actors to dress up as the title monsters it would have looked more convincing than the CGI, to compensate for the obvious lack of funds the monsters are barely shown on screen, which believe me is a good thing. The acting!!!. If they had gathered up drug addicted homeless people & cast them they would have done a better job than the abysmal attempt made by these 'actors', I would be surprised if any of them have had any work since doing bad 80's porn movies, yes that sounds entertaining but it really isn't!, I laughed at the acting in the first scene of a helicopter pilot but soon realised he was probably the finest actor in the entire film & then it became very boring, very quickly. There is truly nothing enjoyable about this film, & I am writing that as someone who watched it expecting to laugh at a terrible film. How do these people find the strength to get out of bed in the morning?? They arrive at work only to be told by some genius "I've had a great idea, what if the shark fly's out of the sea & eats an airplane". All of you stop making films now.
I'm not quite sure where to begin with this - it came across like a bad dream but with worse acting. If you can imagine a kid with a rubber shark beating up his toy aeroplane then you can picture the special effects. The science was a bit weird too - the monster shark was swimming at 500kts (nearly 600mph) which is pretty fast for a fish but luckily the sub could go faster.

I was shaking my head for the first 30 mins thinking this couldn't get any worse but my kids were cheering their favourite creature on. In the end though I just sort of appreciated it for what it was and joined them. It was definitely appalling but sort of fun at the same time. The main achievement of the film was that it made me feel like I could make a monster movie myself ... 10 minutes in my kids toy box, 5 minutes with photoshop and perhaps a minute on the script ... monster worms vs giant sparrows anyone?
