A 330ml can, canned on 19th August 2019, and with a best before date of 19th May 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy and slightly murky orange colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.

Aroma: Tropical fruitiness, mango, pineapple juice, with splashes of citrusy orange.

Taste: Moderately sweet, fruity, juicy, tropical, mango, peach, pineapple, resinous, pine, with hints of citrusy orange, zest and pith to create a lightly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Nice tropical fruitiness, but slightly on the sweet side for me. The light bitterness on the finish helped a bit though.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 7.9%. Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of tropical fruits, esp. mango. The flavour is medium sweet (maybe too sweet), with distinct notes of tropical fruits throughout. Low bitterness.

Fruit, yeah, but plenty of spice - like grilled pineapple. Drinkable for almost 8%. Not quite Tasty Juice or Supersonic, but primo Vermont from Norway.

Pours a hazy lght orange with a thick cap of soapy head.

Smell is piney and resiny with a chaser of peach, a bit juicy.

Taste is ridiculously good. Piney resin smashes headlong into a NE-style hop bite with hints of licorice and vanilla. Powerful, yet soft bitterness. World class.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.

Overall, this takes the best from both coasts and mash it together to create a truly fantastic beer.

Hazy orange, strange bubbly head, some laces, moderate retention.
Pleasant and juicy vermont aroma. So is the taste.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Refreshing!

Really hazy, murky orange color with light beige head. Aroma has lots of overripe orange and other juicy fruit notes. Taste is sweet and fruity, mostly overripe orange, some honey and slightly caramelized malt. Medium body with medium minus carbonation. Good but I expected more considering the hype around it.

330 ml can, Beer Merchants, Manchester - Pours hazy orange with a medium white foamy head. Nice lacing. Medium carbonation. Aroma - Nice hit of juicy hoppiness - tropicals - peach/pineapple, touches of citrus - orange, lots of piney resin notes mixed in. Taste - Sweet juicy hop front - tropicals - pineapple/peach, piney resin middle, light crisp small bitter finish with a nice touch of alcoholic warmth. Very, very nice DIPA. Easily one of the best for me in 2018.

Eines meiner lieblings DIPA Biere das es überhaupt gibt. Super tropischer Geschmack, weich und saftig. Einfach ein super sexy Bier, genau wie die Dose ;-)
Lervig i one of my absolute favourite breweries, but this IPA is special. Tasty, rich, creamy like buttermilk, extra fruity, dry bitter!
Das Label ist echt klasse und lustig – im Glas helles Orange, deutlich trüb, helle feinporige Schaumkrone – auffallend gut aufschwenkbar, tolle Glasanhaftung.
In der Nase typisch satte DIPA Aromen, malzig, satte Fruchtaromen, leicht harzig – satt vollfruchtig wie bei einem NEIPA.
Frischer und deutlich herber Antrunk, leicht trocken am Gaumen und ein Cocktail aus Ananas und Tropenfruchtmix. Leichte Malzsüße rundet ab – Hopfenbitterkeit und Fruchtnoten ergänzen sich sensationell, die Fruchtnoten gehen auch im Nachtrunk nicht unter, sondern ergänzen.
Im Nachtrunk kommen Ideen von Physalis auf der fruchtigen Seite auf und es wird deutlich wie schön fruchtige Aromen mit den herben floralen Bitternoten zusammen gehen. Bitter, fruchtig, saftig, harzig – leicht abrundende Malznote, schon eher leicht schweres Bier, Alkohol gut eingebunden.
Sowas gibt’s selten: Von allem was und so intensiv – dabei ausgewogen und wirklich „pornös“ lecker!
Kann mich den andren nur anschließen, echtes First Glass DIPA, rockt!
Ein rundum gelungenes DIPA. Einfach spitze!
Sehr viel Frucht findet sich bei diesem NEIPA in der Dose! Allein, ich persönlich würde vielleicht etwas von Sudden Death, Buddelship oder FrauGruber vorziehen.
Das Liquid Sex Robot von Lervig ist ein richtig gutes DIPA. Es besticht mit vielen tropischen Aromen und hat eine Farbe, die eher an Saft erinnert.
