Lets be real here: I read this for the two epilogue stories. I was SUPER excited to see how things were going with Lyssa after Fusion ended. I adore the characters in this series and the idea of getting to spend even more time with them. Eeeeeep! Speaking of Fusion...I cant write about these stories with spoiling the last book, so if you havent finished the series yet, you should get on that!Lyssa and Sage and the First Few WeeksAH, THE FEELS. Seeing these two characters as parents made me so darn happy, even though the relationship was still rocky. Lyssas worries and emotions were running high like you would expect and since she and Sage argued a lot, things werent easy. They took a step to make everything easier. I loved seeing that! Appearances from Lizbeth and Sera were also a plus.Lyssa and Sage and the Curious QuestionThis was set four years after Fusion. FOUR YEARS. I loved catching up with the characters and seeing where they were. Ragen was SO ADORABLE. She asked a lot of questions, some of which made me laugh out loud because she was so innocent. It was heartwarming to see Lyssa, Sage, and Ragen interact as a family. I was even happier to see the couple as parents in this story because it was obvious that they were doing a great job. It was also obvious that Lyssa came a really long way since the end of the series (and she had already grown a ton by the end of the last book, so her overall character growth was HUGE). As for the other stories, I especially liked reading Lizbeths. It was fun to get her first impression of Lyssa and see the moment she realized who Razia really was. Vels story felt like a strong one. I just liked his POV.As much as I love Sage, I didnt click with his stories as much as the others. I liked getting some of his early thoughts on Lyssa, though. I didnt have much of a reaction to Harms story. I like his character, but not as much as the others featured. It didnt add or detract from the collection as a whole since it was such a small part of it, though.If I had to rate the stories individually, Id give the two epilogue stories 4.5 stars, Lizbeth and Vels stories 4 stars, Sages two stories 3 stars, and Harms 2 stars.If youre a Razia fan, you should definitely read these short stories. The epilogue stories especially add to the reading experience of the series as a whole. Youll love seeing how Sage and Lyssa are doing!
