Extras: The first disc had a cast list but that was all. The second disc though, started with a cast list and a 68:31 minute scene starring Nyomi Banxxx (with Mike Adriano of course) described below, a cumshot recap, trailers, filmographies, and five photogalleries. The bonus scene alone was well worth checking out, Nyomi adding some color to the movie with her wonderful booty.
Audio/Video Quality: Anal Starlets was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The scenes were all shot with basic lighting to eliminate any shadows, texture, or hints of color variations. The set up was simple with the basic tease, then Mike would join in for various forms of intercourse (a strong emphasis on anal too), all in some form of point of view fashion. The grain was minimal as was the video noise, the director trying to provide a basic porn experience here rather than cultivate favorable press by use of silly special effects. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual, fans of well rounded women certain to appreciate it. The bitrate tended to hover around the 5.3 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard, the basic editing not really doing much with the footage that I could see but then I don't have access to the raw footage to make a definitive statement. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with. There wasn’t much to talk about aurally speaking though, the tease portion of the scenes employed music but the rest of the show was fairly easy to hear the vocals even if it sounded like a home camera shot them.
Body of Review: Mike Adriano is one of the more kink dedicated directors at Evil Angel, his love of circus act anal sex tricks notable even more now than when he was the go to director elsewhere. While he enjoys showcasing ladies wearing booty shorts, lingerie, and taking large toys in their asses, he is also known for his love of point of view (POV) work that allows him to partake in the sex, his latest fuck flick to make it my way being Anal Starlets POV+: Special Set. The movie was one of the longest titles released of late, clocking in at almost five and a half hours with a bonus scene lasting over another hour all by itself. The cast included a diverse set of hotties such as Krissy Lynn, Jynx Maze, Nikki Sexx, Katie Summers, and Brooklyn Lee; each of them properly proportioned to fit the bill in this booty babe set of scenes. There was a lot to appreciate here even if the rough edges needed some technical polishing up, the package as solid as his usual fare.
The company website described the movie like this: “Mike Adriano offers five scenes of non-stop anal action featuring a combination of new and seasoned talent. As director and performer, Mike fills the scenes with sexual heat in a casual style. 19-year-old Southern California sexpot Jynx Maze gets her ass reamed and worshipped by Mike's tongue and cock. Newbie Brooklyn Lee passes her first anal scene with flying colors, and then Katie Summers flashes a welcome with her shaved pussy even though, as she tells Mike, her favorite body part is her ass -- and it gets a serious workout in her scene. Director Mike Adriano gives them a chance to shine — where the sun doesn't.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Jynx Maze, a healthy little hotty as seen on the upper left portion of the cover, was up first as she posed in her black booty shorts and white t-shirt out by the pool. Mike Adriano immediately struck up a rapport with the 19 year old Long Beach native, both of them displaying some physical attraction for the one another. She claimed to like anal sex and her nipples were hard as she said it, Mike following her around in his usual booty camera style as she revealed her sexual history to him (in front of his “Bang Bang” graffiti mural). There seemed to be less POV camerawork throughout the movie this time, Mike’s style in that regard not being absolute so Claudio Maestro could capture the action from whatever angles worked best, Jynx liking the taste of his ass nearly as much as he liked hers. Scene Three: Katie Summers, the cute little princess seen on the lower right hand corner of the front cover, was up next as the last scene of the first disc, her shaven snatch barely covered by her pink & white striped shirt that was pulled down to cover her goodies. Mike Adriano expressed some desire to eat her asshole out when she brought up the subject, her coy banter and fleshy ass combining nicely to set the stage for an epic anal encounter. She knew how much of an impact her tease was having on him and while she seemed a little too polished at times, there was no doubt she was going to be a great lay. I liked that they went outside by the pool for him to start doing most of the rimming and toy work, her blowjob displaying the likelihood of her having seen hundreds of cocks in her mouth over the years. She was largely passive during most of the anal penetration but made up for it orally, her oiled up cheeks a fetching sight indeed with the young lady enjoying herself as she went down on him one last time (rimming him too) before swallowing the wad of spew he bust into her mouth.

Initially, she seemed kind of standoffish to me as she didn’t smile without it looking forced but this didn’t last long as she came around, the hotty wearing bright pink stretch pants on her fleshy ass to match her breast revealing top and accessories. She claimed this was her fourth anal scene but promised she would be a lot nastier and dirtier here, proving this out in large part by her attitude, active nature, and passion for cock. One might argue whether she was just acting as though she enjoyed it or truly into the action but the bottom line for me (no pun intended) was in how she appeared under scrutiny. She did play it up at times and provide some over the top comments but when push came to shove, he ate her ass like it was full of candy and she sucked his rod aggressively, the two pushing each other’s limits substantially in the hour they had to go at it. They engaged in a lot of oral and anal here, moving inside the house to consummate the harder of acts, Mike rubbing out the final load of spunk to her face and Nikki giving him some post coital head as a reward.
Summary: Anal Starlets by director Mike Adriano for Evil Angel was not as polished a movie as some of his other recent work but the raw energy and enthusiasm were plentiful, the strokability assured, and the casting providing a solid selection of attractive women earning their keep so I rated it as Highly Recommended. Mike brings a devotion to ass that few of his peers still possess in their scenes, his personal undertaking to get all the ladies off if at all possible helping to make this a winner. In short, Anal Starlets: Special Set was exactly what a fan might expect of the director, a double disc extravaganza full of anal antics, POV photography (but not a slave to it, hence the “POV+” label on the front cover), gals with shapely asses willing to engage in all sorts of depraved circus act sex, and an infectious enthusiasm typically missing in shows featuring extreme queens more interested in pushing their limits than having fun so check it out.
