What tragic and devastating news. My prayers are with the families, friends, and fans. I got to meet fighter, Shinard Bunch, who had a great fight! Congratulations on your victory! It is so devastating to say these words I am so deeply saddened by the death of one of my brother drummers and dear friend. Neil was a hero to all of us drummers. He was a great man and a great musician. My heart goes out to Alex and Geddy for their loss and all the family, friends, and fans. May he rest in peace and be met by the lord in heaven. Питер Джордж Крискула родился в Бруклине 20 декабря года. Взяться за барабанные палочки парня побудила игра знаменитого джазового ударника Джина Крупы, который дал Питеру несколько уроков. В конце х и начале х Крискула был участником ряда команд в том числе 'Chelsea' и 'Lips' , коим так и не удалось 'выбиться в люди'. Попытки получить работу у Элтона Джона и в ' New York Dolls ' провалились, и тогда барабанщик дал в газету объявление, круто изменившее его жизнь. Заметку прочли Пол Стэнли и Джин Симмонс, которые пригласили парня в свою команду, прогремевшую впоследствии на весь мир под именем ' Kiss '. Каждый из участников группы взял себе псевдоним и выбрал какой-нибудь имидж, причем Крискула превратился в Питера Крисса, а его сценическим персонажем стал Кот. К середине х ' Kiss ' достигли статуса суперзвезд, но роль барабанщика в этом была невелика. Положение несколько изменилось во время записи альбома 'Destroyer', в который по предложению Питера включили балладу 'Beth' оригинал был написан им еще во времена 'Chelsea' и назывался 'Beck'. Композиция угодила в горячую десятку и тем самым помогла 'Destroyer' добраться до платиновой отметки. В году все участники команды выпустили по сольнику, но работа Крисса оказалась самой попсовой и потому имела наименьший коммерческий успех. К тому времени Кот уже практически не мог обходиться без бутылки, и это сказалось на его карьере. В создании альбома 'Dynasty' он принимал минимальное участие, а на сессиях 'Unmasked' его вообще не было. Хотя и на том, и на другом диске имя Крисса фигурировало, с ним все же пришлось расстаться. Покинув группу, Питер попытался заняться сольной карьерой, однако дело шло туго. Здесь в отличие от предыдущей работы Питер сделал ставку не на свои песни, а на чужой материал на пластинке звучали вещи Расса Балларда , Джона Леннона и даже Джина Симмонса. Впрочем, трюк не сработал, и покупатели не спешили разбирать новое творение бывшего Кота. Последующие десять лет Крисс провел, потребляя алкоголь и участвуя в различных проектах, ни один из которых не продержался дольше года. В середине х состоялся реюнион классического состава ' Kiss ', однако при записи 'Psycho Circus' ни Криссу, ни Фрейли не доверили всех партий, а позже и тот, и другой были уволены из группы. В начале века Питер попробовал заняться актерской карьерой, но потом на долгое время исчез из поля зрения. Музыкант вернулся в м с личностно-балладным альбомом 'One For All'.
