If you like Sci Fi , you need to see this! Its low budget but even the SPFX are pretty decent. Not much of an acting critic , then again the story was good so it didn't matter to me. Not a fan of the first person camera thing either , but that all just melted away as I watched. I have seen 100 million dollar movies that were worse.
I liked, it made me remember when I played the half-life although it has nothing to do with the video game. The effects were very well, you can appreciate the whole scene not a part of it, which usually happens in this style of filming. The story is forced, an excuse to make the argument of parallel universes but not bad, I mean, could have done something different but the idea of ​​a failed experiment is not bad. But still the film is very well told. The ending leaves a bitter taste for the fact that it was all for nothing. For me a seven, the only"bad" as was the argument. Pd: Dan Stevens good performance.
Granted, the film might not have turned out much better had Smit stuck with one perspective or the other, but at least it would have had constancy. Instead, it reads strictly as a video game, sans the requisite interactive gratification.
