They feel the need to try to force him to seem cool at all points; for example taking on multiple opponents that he should do far worse at combating then anyone else on the team. Giving him a sword to try and out cool dick Grayson who he's replacing. They ruined beast boys character, he's not supposed to be arrogant or the comic relief that no one finds funny. They replaced the comic cannon of having beast boy and raven together in favor of Damian waynes "badboy with a heart of gold" bullshit. Forcing similarities between the two that aren't there. I liked that they got cyborg back to where he belongs at least for a little while. It was just all way too easy. I liked justice league war a lot but that was because on the whole they got the characters right, this film didn't come close.
