Justice League Dark is DC's Newest Animated Film and probably one of the best ones in a while it was dark and action packed but also pretty funny when it was needed to with most of the humor being delivered by the great Batman himself voiced by Jason O'Mara who although seems to be the main guy in the story he really isn't. Matt Ryan reprises his role as Constantine and fans of the cancelled show will not be disappointed by his voice performance and overall i found the film very enjoyable with the pacing being really good and each character getting a good introduction and amount of screen time. Like i said it was funny, dark and bloody at times and for me way better than The Killing Joke for sure (A+)
This movie is an interesting take on the JLD run. I do not agree with everything it does, but I do believe it holds it's own. One complaint people new to the magics of the DCU may have is that Zatana and Constantine seem to have limitless power. Trust me there are lomits, it's just this is a short animated piece, that really doesn't have time to go into that. <br/><br/>If you can overlook that, then this movie will entertain you, but it will fall short if they never do anything with JLD again. Over all the animation is toght, the plot is dense with out seeming to rushed, and they got personalities right.
