The Mastercard Summer Intern Program is a (minimum) 8 week comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company.
The program is open to:
- Current students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and who are one year in advance of graduating
- Evidence of strong academics, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Innovative thinking and ability to partner across the organization
Intern, Business Development - Overview
The intern will support the Business Development team and will have the opportunity to learn about e-commerce payment products and technologies and to take part in the development and implementation of Mastercard digital products
Role
• Understand Mastercard business operation model and current market landscape, with focus on e-commerce and digital payments
• Assist business development managers with supportive jobs, including internal and external communication, market research, product development, vendor management, product launches and marketing campaign implementation, after-launch support, paperwork and so forth
• Take part in business execution and tracking
All About You
• Passionate about online/digital tools, platforms, and services: an active user of different online (web and app) services – social networks, messengers, apps, online stores
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluency in English and Russian is a must
• Strong good logic thinking and presentation through PowerPoint
• Studying towards an information technology, business development, product development, marketing related degree or equivalent
• Prior working experience in payment, marketing or banking is a plus
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated track of succeeding
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail combined with curiosity
• Strong research and analytical skills, attention to details
• Team player
