Install a bootanimation

In this guide we'll find out how to install a custom bootanimation with an app. This requires root access, and afaik Samsung devices require another format of bootanimation.

First, install this app. Once installed, grant it root access. You might want to setup a backup directory first, as it will backup your current bootanimation by default, but it will be unaccessible with a file explorer, unless you set up the backup directory. You can check this guide out.

Then, have your bootanimation zip file downloaded, (if from telegram than you need to 'save to downloads',) then press the plus in the bottom right and select 'Install from local storage', then navigate to the zip, and press select. You can now preview the animation, see details about it, and install it by pressing the plus. You will get a confirm dialog with an option to backup the current bootanimation, now select 'Install'. That's it!
