After the events of The Incredibles (2004), Elastigirl (Helen) is sent on a mission to make supers legal again. Mr. Incredible (Bob) is left to care for Jack-Jack, Violet, and Dash. When a dangerous new threat arises, it is up to the family to neutralize the threat and save the day once again.
Still balancing between legality and illegality and always bargaining in the shadow of the law, the extraordinary Parr family have a brush with Metroville's police after leaving a trail of destruction in their wake during an epic battle with the Underminer. Under those circumstances and with the government officially shutting down the secret superhero program, the family is approached by the upbeat benefactor and telecommunications tycoon, Winston Deavor, and his ever-watchful sister, Evelyn, in an attempt to restore the Parr's tarnished public image; however, only the mother, Elastigirl, gets to be the campaign's new face. As a result, the once-mighty Mr Incredible is left behind, juggling domestic responsibilities with taking care of the kids, as the invincible super-mum and the household's new breadwinner clashes head-on with the city's newest mega-villain, Screenslaver. Can this incredible family figure out a way to deal with this new reality?
I have been a Disney/Pixar fan since Toy Story was released, Throughout the years they have made wonderful films but however have made decent films. The Incredibles for me falls under the decent category, I don&#39;t understand what was the big hype about this one and still don&#39;t to this day. Now look it&#39;s not bad but it wasn&#39;t my cup of tea. This sequel doesn&#39;t quite live up to the expectations of it&#39;s first film and honestly compared to the one 14 years ago they used the same formula that didn&#39;t quite mesh well this time around. Weak story, Villain very predictable and the action might be too intense for some viewers.<br/><br/>I don&#39;t hate this film but again it just wasn&#39;t for me and I may not understand why everyone likes it so much...So take this review with a grain of salt
I love musicals, but it&#39;s nice to watch a disney pixar film every now and then which isn&#39;t a musical and that is The Incredibles. Loved the first one, but the Incredibles 2 is even better. It&#39;s more intense, the story is better, and it&#39;s a real who dunnit (scary and creepy at times) which keeps you guessing every step of the way. <br/><br/>A real slick film with the great characters you love and the stuff with the baby is absolute gold. Fun for most of the family although in my own opinion I don&#39;t believe this film should be for children under the age of six as it is a little hard core at times. <br/><br/>Absolutely loved this film. A must see. Will probably win Best Animated Feature at the Oscars this year. Extremely well done!
The good news is that this continuation is a similarly rousing and savvy adventure that energetically serves up more of what we love — from the sleek retro-futurist designs to the ticklishly severe Eurasian super-clothier Edna Mode — and yet wisely, wittily, reverses the first film’s accommodating traditionalism to make for an even richer, funnier portrait of its tight and in-tights family.
