How to use the Demo-version of the service MONETO: a step by step guide

PART I

Go to the https://mone.to/

Now click on the "Demo" tab or click here: https://demo.mone.to/

The next step is to create a wallet for the Testnet network. We offer to use a wallet with a Testnet support, e.g. Bitcoin Wallet for Testnet (Android), BitMari (iOS), Copay (all platforms)

For example, we used the Copay wallet for Windows.

Install Copay on your computer and select the "Create bitcoin wallet" option.

Click on the tab "New personal wallet".

Enter the name of the future wallet and open additional settings "Show advanced options".

Then enable the Testnet option.

Now you have to enter the password and you can start using the wallet.

The next step you will need to copy the address of the wallet, you can find it on the "Receive"tab.

Return to the mone website.to the "Demo" section to get test bitcoins to your new wallet. Click on the word "here" or click on this link https://testnet.manu.backend.hamburg/faucet.

PART II

Enter the address of your wallet, which you copied in advance, then you will need to confirm that you are not a robot, and then click "Give me some coins".

If you have done everything correctly, the site will confirm that the coins have been transferred to your wallet.

Again, come back to the site MONETO.

PART III

First of all, the system will warn you that in the demo version of the service operations will be carried out in the Testnet environment.

Enter the amount of the security deposit.

Next, you will need to accept the terms on which the loan will be granted.

Enter the address of the card, it can be any address that does not exist, because it needs for testing only.

Copy the address generated by the service.

Open your wallet in Copay and paste this address from the clipboard.

Enter the amount you wish to deposit.

Click "Send" and then confirm the transfer by entering the password.

That's it. This is how the issuance of loans secured by Bitcoin will be carried out, when the working version of the service will be launched.
