My boyfriend and I have been together since the beginning of May. Several people responded that it is a good idea — or at least, not a bad idea. I think after 2 months if things are going well why not. For me because my family is very traditional so I wanted wait to introduce him to my parents. As much as you love your partner, what your family thinks also carries weight, especially if you are close to them. My brother was befoge 3 times before he got married. Before you move him into your parent's house. Usually, I let the guy decide, it's just less for me to worry and think about. Why is he not your boyfriend. Parents have mefting bizarre sixth sense when it comes to stuff like that, so take you meetimg and do not rush it. Is he hiding something. So I asked him to go, and he said yes. Even chance encounters such as these can lead to massive family drama, so take the bull by the horns and set up a lunch date with your parents sooner rather than later. Anything longer than 6 months you are wasting your time. Usually when we're in love or when I come over to hang out beofre my boyfriend. Lol, you should meet them now. I mean if you wait "until it feels right" we all know it will never "feel" right because it's nerve racking as heck. I think you should do what ever is comfortable for the both of you. You don't want them to meet your man then a couple of months later your parents are meeting another man. It doesn't have to be extremly serious to do it, but a week into dating might scare him away. Now all you need to worry about is making a great first impression on how long dating before meeting parents. You want the people you care about to see just why you are so in love with this person. I guess I think I would rather get it over with. To give some context to my situation.
If he's telling you he won't introduce you for "years" then that sets off a red flag for me. Figuring parens when the right time is will, of course, have a lot to do with how strict or relaxed your parents are. I want to be certain that the next guy I bring around is someone I'm seriously interested in.
Family is no different than meeting any new people. So I asked him to go, and he said yes. Do you usually wait until you know you're both in love, to introduce one another to your eating
