Rose Cooper is an uptight and by-the-book cop whose name has become synonymous with screw-ups. She's given a chance to redeem herself one day when she is assigned to protect a federal witness, Daniella Riva, the vivacious and outgoing widow of a drug boss. As the two polar opposites race through Texas, they find themselves pursued by everyone from crooked cops to murderous gunmen. However, their greatest obstacle to making this out alive may be themselves as they learn that Cooper has now been considered a fugitive fleeing with Daniella.

Reese Witherspoon is a great actress. I love her character in the movie. Funny and interesting. Sofía Vergara is also a good actress. It just her character, Mrs. Reva, did not caught my attention. The combination of both characters are great but not persuasive in my part.<br/><br/>I did enjoy the movie but not fully. There are some scenes that are boring especially on the last action scene where Vicente Cortez and Mrs. Reva&#39;s face off. Honestly, it was pretty lame scene. I never though that it will end just like that. I have some questions left behind. <br/><br/>Overall, Reese Witherspoon and Sofía Vergara produce a great comedy partner and the movie did an average job.
HOT PURSUIT, in my opinion, is an excellent on-the-road buddy comedy that will keep you smiling from start to finish. If you ask me, Daniella (Sofía Vergara) was a very pretty lady. However, I thought that her attitude towards Cooper (Reese Witherspoon) wasn&#39;t very nice for the most part. In spite of all that, I believe they made a great team. In my opinion, Cooper was a very hard-working cop. The costumes were well-designed, the scenery was pretty, and the performances were top-grade. In conclusion, I highly recommend this movie to all Reese Witherspoon or Sofía Vergara fans who haven&#39;t seen it. I guarantee that you&#39;re in for a real treat.
Hot Pursuit is a quiet triumph of tone and timing. Nearly every scene is cut at just the right point, often topped off with a fantastic kicker of dialogue.
