Nero is a loner, trapped in a miserable life. Everything might change when he meets Laura. However, in his world there is not room for love and he will need to struggle to keep his feelings alive
I've seen this short in Rome, at RIFF and i liked some ideas beneath the short film, great actors, good angles. But it could be better: e.g. the weird change of color in Nero's t-shirt between two scene (maybe too expensive hiring a secretary of production). And in final shot, i am quite sure there is a puppet on the floor, but the frame is too dark and it's hard to catch this fundamental details (i think it's the puppet from the rape scene, that Laura drop leaving the fighting arena). After projection the director say something about the personal path in filming this story, but he wasn't so clear in explaining his personal view behind the plot. Interesting, in the end, not so predictable, but again i've appreciate more accuracy. Try again.
