When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan.
After finding intelligence in Loki's scepter, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner use it to start Ultron, a peacemaker, who soon uncovers the world's wrongs, and plans to rid human error. With help from experimented human beings turned allies, the Avengers search to hunt for Ultron, who is trying to make a synthetic human body to upload his mind into.
I don&#39;t believe comic books make good movies. Production and direction were very good but there&#39;s just too many unbelievable and long fight scenes, melodrama, Stan Lee cameos, quips, deviation from the costumes and books. Formulaic? I could go on and nit pick the differences I&#39;ve already listed and bring up even more faults (eg If Ultron had an &quot;otherworldly&quot; origin, why was his persona so hip?), but, in short, I was easily bored with this movie.<br/><br/>IMO, the very best comic book movie to date is Watchmen which had everything most current comic book movies - short fight scenes, built tension towards the end, accurate costumes, seeming &quot;real&quot; characters, etc...<br/><br/>I&#39;m sure the young crowd will love this. As a 40+ y.o., no.
i have read some reviews - i understand kids and people that blindly like everything with Marvel written on it rate it as &quot;Amazing 10/10 best movie ever&quot;...<br/><br/>but honestly those who like movies and comics, lets respect ourselves a little and admit that WE DO NOT WANT THE THIRD AVENGERS MOVIE TO BE LIKE THIS - predictive formula-type &quot;movie&quot;(?) where everything is clear after you see the trailer.<br/><br/>OK special effects are great but do we really need this? would you rather prefer interesting, involving story which makes you think and discuss with friends afterwards even without these many special effects or you want a bunch of explosions where you just brainlesly sit and become more and more dumb after a series of interchanging cheesy jokes? I hope this movie will become a wake up call for those who made it.<br/><br/>If this movie will be treated as a &quot;standard of perfection&quot; to other movies as according to many comments here, then it will be very sad.
It’s the interplay between the film’s many different characters, rather than the blow-up-the-world crisis they’re trying to defuse, that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
