Είμαι μυστήριο τραίνο και μου αρέσει να διαβάζω κάποια απο τα παιδικά μου βιβλία κατα καιρούς παρ΄ όλο που πλησιάζω τα 35. Ο Τυφλοπόντικας ή Η μυρωδιά της θάλασσας όπως είναι ο κανονικός τίτλος του, προτείνεται για παιδιά άνω των 9 ετών απο τις εκδόσεις Νεφέλη, εγώ θα έλεγα ότι μπορεί άνετα να το διαβάσει (ή τελοσπάντων να του το διαβάσουν) κι ένα παιδί 6-7 χρονών. Είναι η πρωτοπρόσωπη αφήγηση ενός μικρού μαθητή που μεγαλώνει σε μία υποβαθμισμένη συνοικία κάποιας Γαλλικής πόλης σχετικά με το σχολείο του. Η τάξη του περιλαμβάνει συνολικά 11 μαθητές οι οποίοι έχουν προβλήματα μάθησης και συμπεριφοράς και το βιβλίο αφορά τις περιπέτειες τους και πως ένας δάσκαλος τους κάνει σταδιακά να αγαπήσουν το σχολείο και να αλλάξουν συμπεριφορά και κοσμοθεωρεία. Ανάμεσα σε άλλες περιπέτειες, πολλά απο τα παιδιά δεν έχουν δει ποτέ την θάλασσα και ο δάσκαλος τους -ο Τυφλοπόντικας- βρίσκει έναν τρόπο να πάνε κάπου παραθαλάσσια, αρκεί να δουλέψουν όλοι μαζί για να πετύχουν τον στόχο τους.Πραγματικά απολαυστικό βιβλίο με όμορφα μηνύματα για τα μικρά παιδιά και διασκεδαστική πλοκή για τους μεγάλους, φυσικά στα πλαίσια ενός παιδικού βιβλίου πάντα.
