Hawaiian Eye Full Movie 720p Download

Set against the beautiful tropical landscape of Honolulu, Hawaii, this series centered around the cases of Hawaiian Eye Private Investigations and the two handsome, slick, tough-guy detectives who ran the firm, Thomas Jefferson Lopaka, or Tom for short, and Tracy Steele, a Korean War veteran and former city police detective. They operated out of a swank office at the Hawaiian Village Hotel, where they were also the house detectives. Assisting them occasionally was a funny, ukulele-strumming Hawaiian taxi driver named Kazuo Kim, whose wardrobe, consisting of a straw hat and crazy Hawaiian shirts, and numerous relatives living all over the Hawaiian Islands, willing to help his employers if they needed it, provided invaluable comic relief. They were also aided by a dim-bulbed, scatter-brained, flippant nightclub singer and photographer named Chryseis "Cricket" Blake. Later joining the team, was private eye Greg MacKenzie, an old friend of Tom's from the mainland. Troy Donahue came along in the last season, as hotel Social Director Philip Barton. Lieutenant Danny Quon was their contact on the police force who was always on call to provide any vital information that could help the Eyes crack a case.
I remember watching all those WB tv shows in the late 50's to early 60's and after a while they all got to be the same story but with a different cast and location. Hawaiian Eye was far from being Hawaii 50 which was all filmed in Hawaii and had lots of "real" exteriors and no back lots. I saw an episode of Hawaiian Eye on TV Land lately and I saw only a few stock shots of hawaii, lots of rear projection shots and mostly backlot scenes that were supposed to be Hawaii. Most action took place inside with lots of dialog. I am glad that I saw it once for nostalgic reasons but I am in no hurry to see another one.
During my late teens I was growing up in Kidbrooke, a dormitory suburb in south-east London. My family and I did not have a television until 1958 so we were restricted to listening to the radio. About that time I heard Connie Stevens sing &quot;Sixteen reasons&quot; on the radio. From her voice I pictured Connie as a pretty, blue-eyed blonde. I immediately bought the record. A little while later my family bought our first television. About eight months later I saw Connie playing the part of &#39;Cricket&#39; in &quot;Hawaiian Eye&quot; so imagine my astonishment when she looked exactly as imagined when listening to her voice approximately one year earlier. This was the first of only two times I was right when putting a face to a radio/telephone voice to a person whom I had never seen.<br/><br/>Since then I have been a fan of Connie Stevens, and bought her compact disc some years&#39; ago. Unfortunately I have not seen her biography on the shelving in London&#39;s bookshops. Near my place of employment in London&#39;s Covent Garden area is the Cinema bookshop, but again no pertinent biographic books and neither is there a signed photograph on display - how sad! I hope that Connie Stevens is keeping well and enjoying life. Should she visit London to give a show or perform in London&#39;s theatreland I would like to know as I would like to be in the audience as appropriate.<br/><br/>I also wish that &quot;Hawaiian Eye&quot; and &quot;77 Sunset Strip&quot; would appear again on British Television.
