Somewhere in Southern California, in a drug raid run by the US government, a beachfront property was seized and turned into a residence for undercover cops. "Graceland" is a place full of secrets, and bad, good, and blurred moments too. The only idyllic thing is its outside look, but the lives of its residents are nothing like it. The lies which are in the base of their undercover work, are formed a web of lies that pervades everything. Coming of a new graduating at the top of his class, FBI rookie, Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit), could make the life of a legendary FBI agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) and the others, more complicated or it could reveal the truth. It is based upon actual events.
I'm not sure what show the poor reviews were watching, but it couldn't have been Graceland. <br/><br/>This show is entertaining and well paced. The acting of the two leads is spot on and the supporting cast, especially Manny Montana, are excellent. There's chemistry and great banter along with a darkness that most USA shows don't have. <br/><br/>Also, if you didn't like the first episode, give the second a shot, the show improves greatly between the pilot and 2nd and goes upwards from there.<br/><br/>Give this show a chance, you will not regret it.
Rush Limbaugh says he watches this show and it's great and I like Rush. Boy was he wrong.<br/><br/>The story has been done a dozen times since Miami Vice was on the air. And this is a bad version. A beach house full of hunky guys and gorgeous women, all working for gov't law enforcement. Yawn.<br/><br/>I lasted till episode 7, and gave up. Some of the worst acting that I've seen on TV. Nobody is believable or likable. It's like they're reading their lines, devoid of any facial expressions, in every scene. The writing is out of the 70's, full of clichés. I realized in the middle of episode 7 that I could care less if any of them lives or dies, or how the ridiculous story turns out, so I clicked it off in disgust.<br/><br/>Thanks a lot, Rush. How could you like this tripe..
