The best part of the movie is such minor detailing. The era shown from 1940's to 2004 is wonderful. This is the best manoj bajpai has acted after satya. The direction of anurag kasyap is very impressive. Music is good. The great part is bihar is shown perfectly. Great cinematography. Parts of Movie are gruesome, not for the faint hearted. As it is based on true story the mindset of the people of wasseypur is very raw. Some parts make you feel how can a person be so ghastly. The epic to show the small time thugs become such a big gangster is unique. My only concern is the movie is too fast, however some wonderful acting and inch perfect detailing stills the show. For me this the best movie of 2012 till date
Wel my 1st Choice for this years national award goes to Paan singh Tomar. but no disrespect to Gangs of Wasseypur. These 2 movies have set New Benchmark for the Upcoming movies, this surely will stop the trend of Watching crappy Emotional love stories in Bollywood. Hope Karan Johar comes up with some good movies next time.
