I am sick and tired of studios taking the classics and pooping out sequels &amp; prequels and reboots that are absolute garbage! I have sat through 3 episodes so far and I cannot take it any more, this thing crawls along at a snails pace and does not have a single character that you can empathize with. I mean seriously right about now I&#39;m hoping that what ever freakin&#39; creature is in this thing swoops down and kills every single lame-ass character! Notably missing from this snore fest is the killer soundtrack which really sets the vibe and I can pretty much guarantee you that there will be no Titty Twister or any other titties for that matter...<br/><br/>How this got a 7.6 rating just astounds me, peeps must think that they are rating the actual movie... speaking of which I went to watch episode 4 tonight and noticed that the actual movie is on Netflix as well so I re-watched the movie and I&#39;ll pass on the rest of the series.<br/><br/>I hope next time Netflix has an &quot;ORIGINAL&quot; series it actually is original.
I was eager to see this, look who is involved and agreed to make it Rodriguez and Tarantino and Nicotero being involved for make-up and effects, well, this must be great. And after seeing the first episode I was a big fan. Don Johnson was so well cast here and the shoot-out looked great and the visions of the monsters was, well, excellent. I moved on to the next episode and from there on it became something different. <br/><br/>I must even say that the further I moved into the series the less I liked it. Don&#39;t get me wrong, the effects used are great and Eiza González is perfect in body and mind but somehow I didn&#39;t get any bond with the characters. <br/><br/>And once they entered the famous bar it&#39;s always the same, turning into the creatures and a fight going on. The Gecko brothers were so great in the first episode as everyone was and I was bound to the screen until they crossed the Mexican border. Friends told me to watch the dance that Elza did and sure, excellent but I lost my interest in the series. <br/><br/>If you are a big fan of the original flick then this is a must see and it&#39;s also great to see all those thespians from way back, that&#39;s typical Tarantino. But no, I couldn&#39;t care about Django Unchained (2012) and this is a bit of the same. <br/><br/>Even as it contains a lot of red stuff just give me the other series Nicotero is involved, The Walking Dead. There you have characters who you could get involved with as it is with Game Of Thrones. Leads can die.
