An astronaut named Gary and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake embark on serialized journeys through space in order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist.
Final Space is an epic animated sci-fi comedy about a spaceman named Gary who is working off a prison sentence and makes a mysterious new alien friend, Mooncake, that he immediately bonds with. But what Gary doesn't know is that his adorable new sidekick is actually wanted by the sinister Lord Commander who will stop at nothing to use Mooncake's untapped powers for evil.
I watched the first episode and I thought what trollop have I began to watch, by episode 3 I was hooked into possibly one of my new favourite shows. Its slow to start but what an epic it turns into. All I say is hang in for the ride because this show is an up and comer. Couple of years and a couple of seasons this will be in the Imdb top 10 gaurenteed.
I have skipped this title many times on Netflix because it seems so childish. One day the trailer played automatically and it seemed really interesting so I gave the pilot a chance. So glad I stuck with the rest of the series. One of the best series I have seen - and I am only on season one!<br/><br/>Final Space is not like Family Guy or The Simpsons like I originally thought - it follows a plot and the character development throughout the first season is so well written. Characters that I thought were boring and/or annoying turned out to be my favorite characters. The story has a perfect mix of funny and more serious themes. Final space has it all; family stories, comedy, drama, love story and an exciting fantasy world that we get to explore. Can&#39;t wait for more seasons to come out.<br/><br/>Give the show a chance - you won&#39;t regret it!
