Cafard is op dat vlak bijna letterlijk een animatiefilm op papier. Een animatiefilm die uitblinkt in het gebruik van schaduwen en kleuren. Ze overweldigen de lezer en creГ«ren meteen de juiste sfeer voor elke passage. De paginas waarop de hoofdstuktitels worden voorgesteld zijn op dat vlak echte pareltjes.Helaas weerhield een te proper en daardoor afstandelijk taaltje (Besef je wel wat je zegt? Viespeuk!) mij ervan om mezelf volledig in deze paginas te verliezen.
