Was REALLY not expecting how awesome this volume was. Like the last few, this one took relatively forever to read, but the nonstop action made it so I didnt notice at all.Piro finally grows a backbone, stops whining, and starts making decisions (this really made me happy; I hate characters and people who cant shut up and decide).Largo stays his typical over-the-top fun self, even while in a relationship. Hes gotten a bit smarter, so Hayasaka has proven to be a very good influence.Nanasawa has grown quite a bit too. In the past, she would agonize about decisions before and after making them because of a lack of confidence. I didnt mind this as much as Piros whiny refusal to make decisions because she made them, but its good to see her becoming more confident in herself and her decisions.We learn more about Tohya. I have to say, I like her even more now that the veil of mystery has been lifted a little.Sonoda is learning more about herself and becoming more active in the plot than just a romantic rival for Nanasawa. Im liking where her character is going.Many of the other characters have grown and have had a bit more background revealed. The cast of recurring characters has also grown and in a good way.Story wise, a lot is going on, but all the threads are at last connecting. While a lot has happened in the past, they were their own independent events. Well, now everythings becoming tied into each other, which is awesome.I also really liked the unMod omake included in this volume. I wont say much about these to prevent spoilers.If youve been following Megatokyo, I highly recommend this volume. Though, I suppose Ill have to finish catching up online as Fred is still working on chapter 11 and a new volume wont come out until 12 is finished.
