A company which acts as an agent for yachts transiting the Suez Canal, The Prnce of the Sea, has advised that new health restrictions have come into force with immediate effect.
The crew of any vessel entering an Egyptian port must have a Health Certificate if they have departed from one of the following countries:
Somalia
Sudan
Yemen
Bangladesh
Brunei Dar Alsam
However, a health certificate is not required if the boat spends a minimum of seven days at sea after leaving any of these ports before arriving at a port in Egypt.
