And once again, Its quite some time since I read this book. Still, I remember some good parts and even some bad parts... and sadly, the bad parts are stronger in case of Togari.Tobe, a not so nice guy, is a murderer who is spending his days in Hell, where he should be atoning for his sins... But Tobe isnt a guy who would grief and regretted something. The big shots arent happy about his attitude towards his punishment so they give him one last chance to bring himself to redemption - Kill 108 Sins.Somebody recommended this to me with words Story with bad guy in lead role, thats something for you, isnt it?. So I checked it out and was nicely surprised. While Togari is visibly a shounen (which means its for younger readership) it was fun to read... At least the first volume was.As the plot continues, everything becomes more and more dull and pain to read. Even main character Tobe, who was fun to watch at the start, becomes a boring guy. Drawings are at okayish level, not great but watchable.If you want to read about how some violent bad guy turns into (despite how ridiculous it may seem at first) harmless bad guy, read Togari and its successor Togari Shiro. It isnt by no means a masterpiece, but It may be enjoyable enough to give it a try. First few volumes were nice, the rest wasnt but who cares? Two (weak) stars out of five.
