This is one of the best biblical fiction books I have read a long time, though Bible scholars and people that read their Bibles on a regular basis might find fault with some inaccuracies and some of the authors presumptions, through based own research and a general knowledge of scriptures. I remind you that this is biblical fiction written for entertainment of the reader and hopefully Will encourage the reader to study the Scriptures to find out the truth. I really enjoyed the story of Deborah, I really like the authors characterization of her, in my opinion she brought hurts a lot making her a real person with all the characteristics of a A woman of her times. She showed great courage in overcoming The prejudices of the elders of the 12 tribes of Israel. She loved, she struggled with following her instructions from God and the love of her husband. She also had to overcome The egos of men being led by a woman. The book was filled with imagination and plausible conclusions for the Bible is silent. This is the story of the courage of a woman to overcome and to follow her faith in the determination to lead the people Israel back to their God. If you wants a lot in enjoyable read this book is a must.
