EON: A Decentralized Gaming Platform (Part 3)

Introduction

In my last post on EON, I discussed about the vision and the solution the EON platform is offering to the global game industry.

From there I moved on to discuss about the EON platform in general and how is going to change the face of things as regards game promotion and marketing so as game developers can get maximum reward for their effort, the current problem faced by game developers as regards game distribution and promotion. The platform comprises of several parts which includes;

Game discovery system
Game community
Referral community
Developer system

This week, I will be explaining the referral community as a part of the platform.

Game Discovery System

This is designed to allow gamers to discover, share and play games that are of interest to them. Users can pay with EON tokens however, multiple cryptocurrencies will be supported by the system.

Non developers can also submit games to the platform although it won't be downloadable until a developer claims it.

Game Community

EON game community is built for gamers to socialize and communicate with other gamers. Each gamer will have their own profile page where their activities, information and achievements will be displaced. Gamers can upvote, downvote or review each other’s activities. This contributes to the development of EON platform and users will be rewarded with EON tokens for positive behavior. The details of the reward will be revealed later by team.

Referral System

This is part of the innovations of the EON platform. It is built on blockchain and it aims to bring in new users to the platform and can also be used as traffic exchange on the EON platform. There is a smart contract attached to every user and its stored on the blockchain. When a user invites a new gamer to the platform, they get rewarded with EON tokens as an incentive to the growth of the community. This reward can be manually configured or automatically adjusted via algorithm.

All referral activities are recorded on the blockchain and can be audited by everyone this makes everything transparent and the platform more efficient and trustworthy. Ad network owners and influencers has the chance to choose the smart contract of their interest as they have the ability to bring in more users to the platform which makes them earn more.

Developer System

This is the hub of game developers as they submit or update their games, view statistics and also configure smart contracts as they set rewards for the different actions in the game. Rewards can be rewarded as they see fit and all activities is recorded on the blockchain.

The EON token will be the main currency on the EON platform and its designed to support the platform economy and also facilitate the growth of the platform. The token is the core of the ecosystem and it is designed to reward behaviors that helps to grow the EON platform.
