In 1868, at the tail end of the Industrial Revolution, with the Assassin Brotherhood all but eradicated, twins Jacob (Paul Amos) and Evie Frye (Victoria Atkin) leave Crawley for London and arrive to find a city controlled by the Templars, with both the Church and the Monarchy losing their power. Raised as Assassins to follow the Creed, Jacob and Evie aim to take back the city from Templar control by infiltrating and uniting London's criminal underworld, aided by notable figures of the era such as novelist Charles Dickens and biologist Charles Darwin.
i was very excited to play this game after buying it a few months after release. i am quite new to the series but have played enough to be able to compare the games. this game features stunning graphics that craft a beautiful game.<br/><br/>An easy to follow storyline that never gets boring keeps our interested with some great plot twits. playing as two assassins was very fun and enjoyable.<br/><br/>likable main protagonists that have good chemistry and are quite funny at times was a good thing to add to the list of pro&#39;s in this game<br/><br/>overall it is definitely a huge improvement over unity, that has reinvigorated the franchise <br/><br/>if you are thinking about buying this game do it and you wont be disappointed.
I went into it expecting unity 2.0, but what I got ohhhhhh boy was so much more, it&#39;s fast paced action and well written story almost made me believe I went back in time to the days of assassins creed 2. Jacob and Evie are such a warm welcome back to the series, the implementation of two characters gives us the gamers more......personality, the chemistry and development between the two is impeccable. The gameplay on the other hand is also fantastic, a bit overwhelming at first but after you become numb to it, it&#39;s amazing!! Where once I was concerned that the technology would ruin this franchise it only added to it, grappling hooks (which at first I was worried about), trains, carriages, revolvers, etc. All added something that assassins creed needed. In all this year was the shake up this franchise needed the only flaw is....take a guess...... The modern story.... But I honestly don&#39;t think it will get any better in games to come, but that aside the game puts life into a dying franchise and definitely adds an apology for unity.
