I join those who've said this could have been great. <br/><br/>The idea has potential, the bringing in different settings, different European subcultures and their problems in relating one another is very interesting. The actors seem very good! If only the script wasn't so bad... flawed in the logic of the cases, melodramatic, easy, stereotyped... why???<br/><br/>Still watching though; cause the actors and the paneuropean thing has something very attractive about it, but feeling pain every time something very stupid is shown... (several times in every chapter) ... ... ...
My wife and I love this show. The stories are good, dealing with a variety of criminal activities. We also enjoy the settings as the ICC team moves around the E.U. dealing with crimes that cross borders. More than anything, we love the characters. They've all been damaged in the past. They all have strengths and weaknesses. However, they're excellent detectives and they continue to grow and care about each other. I give the writers, actors, and directors great credit for caring so much about the characters. There are often small things that express so much about each character and how they relate with each other. Not to be overlooked is the dialogue. Hearing expressions from the main characters who come from different countries can be quite amusing. "Crossing Lines," you touch the heart and you make us smile!
